Upon the mysterious death of your parents, you inherit a rundown house and farm in the quaint yet deceptive town of Canbe Valley. As you explore this seemingly prosperous town, you’ll uncover a world rife with corruption and deceit lurking behind every corner.
In Sinful Valley, a realm that pretends to be fair and just, you’ll discover the harsh reality of underground prostitution, brothels, and slavery. Explore an immersive narrative filled with beautiful girls, each with unique personalities and backstories, and engage in plenty of uncensored lewd scenes.

Being the daughter of the town Mayor, Josie is afforded many privileges but at the cost of her autonomy. She is a staunch supporter of the Faun and wishes to abolish Canbe's anti-faun policies, much to her father's dismay. Her story is one of overcoming hardship, betrayal, and self-discovery.
As a wolf Faun, life is difficult in Canbe. More difficult than most other places in Avaria. In contrast to the rest of the country, Fauns are ridiculed and treated as second or even third-class citizens. Alice's story is one purely of survival, help her navigate her way to a better life.
Claire has spent her life overshadowed by her parents' success, constantly striving for their approval, but while working part-time at the local bookstore, she stumbles upon the dark truth behind her family’s wealth: it was built on the exploitation of Faun slaves. Faced with this devastating revelation, Claire's admiration for her parents shatters. Her story is one of disillusionment and moral conflict.

Can you please not delete this game everytime you do an update? It screws up collections. It is discouraged for a reason. Update your files! Deleting the project and uploading the project with the same url is not an update.
Do a devlog, if you have a major update. This will also get into the feeds. It can even put the game on top of recent again.
Try making a game collection/wishlist and suddenly there is one game missing and you do not know which one. Or why. That is what you are causing.
This is what I would like to do.
I had the project up, with major updates as you said, for months without itch ever marking one as such. This caused the project to fall and fall in rankings despite updates consistently releasing.
I’ve tried getting in contact with them to no response, and while I sympathise with this messing up collections I can’t do much else without having my project fall into obscurity.
Then do it. You achieve the opposite of what you are trying to do, imho.
People make collections for games to try later. For various reasons. Like malware and not trusting games in recent. Or wanting to see how good the ratings will get before they waste their time. You dissappear without trace for anyone having you in a collection and not following you.
You start at 0 ratings, 0 comments. The game has zero trust. For new users it looks barren and unattractive, compared to a game with 100 ratings and a vibrant comment section. And I dare say your 1000+ followers are not really happy about what you do. Your game should have 100 to 200 ratings with that many followers. Just look at other adult games that have that many followers.
The recent boost sure is nice, but you miss out on the popular boosts, like popular and top rated. Don't think global lists, think people browsing for hentai dating sims. Your game is not in this list here https://itch.io/games/top-rated/tag-dating-sim/tag-hentai
Oh, and devlogs themselves are their own category for people to browse. https://itch.io/devlogs Even if you get not placed in recent again, people browsing devlogs can see your game. And for what's it worth, you also can not get promoted by people visiting public collections, if you dissappear all the time.
Uhm. Your game launched here in November. That is not even 5 full months ago. You uploaded your game 5 times or more. I think you overestimate the time span where you tried to make your fresh game recent again, before you gave up and started reuploading.
You misunderstand.
Despite marking my previous devlogs as a ‘major update’ itch would never actually place them as such.
The reason other games are able to stay relevant in itch’s search is because their devlogs are indexed as major updates.
I had the game up for around 2 months before recreating the page, in that time I released 4 or so major updates. None of which itch indexed as such.
The project proceeded to receive next to no traffic.
I’ve looked through plenty of other games devlogs that have been marked as a major update, many of which including less content than was present in mine so that can’t be the issue, and they get added within minutes.
So any argument about missing out on popular or highest rated lists is irrelevant when my project can’t be found.
Without the boost I’m supposed to get from a major update devlog, the project will be lost on itch. That’s my main and only issue, the project would never be recreated/relisted if a fix was made.
